Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and structure? As Head of Financial Operations, you’ll lead a centralized team of approximately 25 colleagues, based in the heart of Amsterdam. You’ll optimize financial processes, implement efficient systems and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Together, we’ll shape the future of our fast-growing international organization!

You’ll establish structure and improve collaboration between sub-departments. By bringing a clear vision to the role of Finance Operations, you’ll drive scalability and visibility across our countries. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders such as the Director of Financial Control, Head of Payroll, Head of Tax, and our Country Directors. With your expertise, processes will become smarter, teams more efficient, and employees empowered to grow in their roles.

Your innovative ideas and leadership will shape the future of Finance Operations, while reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance and contributing to the company’s overall success. You will be part of the Finance MT.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable, credit control and the PO operations team.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Reporting: Prepare and present on KPI’s to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for financial strategy.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance operations team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Bring all of you

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in finance operations, with a proven track record of managing financial processes and teams.
Excellent people leadership and communication skills.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, preferably MS dynamics, Routty and Coupa.

You’re able to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team. You collaborate effectively with other departments to align financial processes with broader business goals. Further you’re excellent in stakeholder management, bring innovation and have a clear strategic vision regarding Financial Operations.
